Sexual Harassment Identification and Prevention (Gender Equity)
The workplace is rapidly changing. The marketplace is also changing rapidly; we see it
all around us. As the turn of the century approaches, the need to look at your workforce
and in particular, creating a gender-bias-free workplace, is imperative to the continued
success of your organization. Designed for managers, supervisors, and employees, this
half-day workshop explores gender bias in your organization by providing a safe training
environment. This environment is a forum to discuss your experiences (your own perception
of the law), attitudes, perceptions, beliefs, and values concerning sexual harassment in
the workplace. The intent of this workshop is to look at gender bias and discrimination in
order to promote a more inclusive work environment. Please note the curriculum is both
awareness and skill-based and promotes teamwork. Participants will develop a gender equity
"tool or skill kit." A combination of lecture, individual assessment, group
activity and discussion, and video case work are employed to make this a highly
interactive workshop.
